It is with great anticipation that we prepare to launch Running and Reading at Cedarbrae, the first such program in K-W. The school staff has made it very clear that they are eager to receive us and the parents who we have met are very enthusiastic.

There is little question that there are children at this school for whom a program of this nature will play a very important role. However, we need to state emphatically that the key to the program's success is you -- the volunteer.

Thank you so much for committing your time and energy to these children. We are going to have an adventure and along the way make a number of important life discoveries!
